Terms of use
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These terms govern the use of Apivox, the Swiss beekeeping management platform with a voice assistant, available at apivox.ch. By creating an account, you accept them.
1. The service
Apivox lets you manage your apiaries, hives, queens, visits, harvests and treatments, and dictate your observations by voice. It is a record-keeping aid: it does not replace the beekeeper's legal obligations (official register, notifications to the cantonal veterinary service, health traceability), which remain your responsibility.
2. Your account
You undertake to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep your credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from your account is deemed to have been carried out by you. Notify us without delay (info@apivox.ch) of any unauthorised use.
3. Free plan and Premium
The free plan is limited (number of apiaries, hives and daily voice commands). The Premium plan removes these limits; it is activated manually after contacting info@apivox.ch, at the pricing conditions communicated at that time. The limits of the free plan may change.
4. Acceptable use
You undertake not to disrupt the service, attempt to access other users' data, circumvent technical limits or use the platform for unlawful purposes. We may suspend an account in the event of manifest abuse, after a warning except in urgent cases.
5. Your data
Your beekeeping data belongs to you. We host and process it in accordance with our privacy policy (hosting in Switzerland, no resale, no advertising). You can request the export or deletion of your data at any time at info@apivox.ch.
6. Availability and backups
We make every effort to keep the service available and backed up daily, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted availability (maintenance, outage, force majeure). The app's offline mode limits the impact of outages in the field.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". Voice transcription and automatic interpretation may contain errors: check important records. To the extent permitted by Swiss law, our liability is excluded for indirect damage and, for the remainder, limited to the amount you have paid for the service over the last twelve months.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and request the deletion of your account at any time. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, giving you the opportunity to export your data.
9. Changes to these terms
We may adapt these terms, for example as the service evolves. Significant changes are announced in the app or by email; continued use constitutes acceptance.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered office, in the canton of Fribourg, subject to mandatory provisions to the contrary.
